This is the product of the Special Exhibit Committee on Fractures of the American Medical Association under the chairmanship of Kellogg Speed, printed in cooperation with the Committee on Scientific Exhibit of the Association. The new volume fits any book shelf and can be carried in an automobile pocket for ready reference. In it are found descriptions of the elementary principles of fracture treatment, including emergency care for transportation, with brief explanations of cause, ordinary displacements and x-ray appearances of many of the fractures met in general practice, all illustrated by line drawings spread through the text.
