    Society News.— 
    Dr. Charles A. Dukes, Oakland, discussed "The Voluntary Health Insurance Plan of the California Medical Association" before the San Diego County Medical Society January 20. Dr. Dukes addressed the Los Angeles County Medical Association January 19 on "Progress Report on the Prepayment Insurance Plan," and Dr. Gosta Dohlman, Lund University, Lund,  Sweden, "State Medicine in Sweden." Cancer Display at Exposition. An elaborate exhibit showing the many possible causes of cancer has been designed for the San Francisco Golden Gate Exposition. The display
