The first Annual Congress on Industrial Health was conducted January 9 and 10 in Chicago.Part of the Council's plan for the advancement of industrial health is a stimulation of clinical discussions on industrial medical problems through the state and county medical organizations. There has been no forum particularly designed for the consideration of nonclinical problems of administration and integration. These may on occasion be fully as troublesome as diagnosis and treatment. The first conference of the Council dealt with these problems. As discussions are continued and regular opportunity is supplied for expression of opinions on industrial health by all interested members in the profession, the usefulness of these conferences will become apparent.The keynote of the first congress was
