GRADY APPOINTED SCIENTIFIC DIRECTOR  Brigadier General Raymond O. Dart, director of the Army Institute of Pathology, with the approval of the Surgeon General and on recommendation of the Committee on Pathology of the National Research Council, has announced the appointment of Dr. Hugh G. Grady as the scientific director of the American Registry of Pathology, succeeding Colonel James E. Ash, who is retiring from active participation in the registries.Dr. Grady received his M.D. degree from Jefferson Medical College in 1934 and served an internship and residency at the Philadelphia General Hospital. He has since been an associate professor at Jefferson Medical College and pathologist at St. Mary's Hospital in Philadelphia and with the National Cancer Institute.
