    First Meeting—Monday Morning, June 7 
    The House of Delegates convened in the Red Lacquer Room of the Palmer House and was called to order at 10 a. m. by the Speaker, Dr. H. H. Shoulders.Preliminary Report of the Reference Committee on Credentials 
    A preliminary report of the Reference Committee on Credentials was submitted by the chairman, Dr. G. Henry Mundt, Illinois, who reported that about one hundred and forty-four delegates with proper credentials had registered.Roll Call 
    A motion by Dr. Allen H. Bunce, Georgia duly seconded, to dispense with the formal roll call and accept the registration of the delegates was carried.Dr. Olin West, Secretary, announced that it would shortly be necessary to have a ballot, and the
