AB Although written to satisfy military requirements, this manual is a rich epitome of roentgenology. For civil purposes there would have been less space devoted to projectile localization, but otherwise the rudiments of the subject are set forth in well-balanced and masterful style. The contents represent the combined work of several of America's most competent roentgen workers, who aimed to furnish the most valuable handbook for military roentgenologists in the making. Their manual will outlast its purpose because it is almost of equal use as a handbook in civil work and has been made available to the civil public.
