Dr Domchek and colleagues1 provided clinical data regarding risk-reducing salpingo-oophorectomy (RRSO) in a large cohort of BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutation carriers, enabling investigation in women with and without a history of breast cancer separately. However, there are some issues that require consideration.
