Given the importance of the topic of distorted publishing2 and interest in the field about possible associations between industry funding and reporting quality,3 we particularly noted the authors' statement, “Our results are consistent with those of other related studies showing a positive relation between financial ties and favorable conclusions stated in trial reports.”
