RT Journal A1 Mancini J, Reynier C T1 REgistering results from clinical trials JF JAMA JO JAMA YR 2010 FD June 2 VO 303 IS 21 SP 2138 OP 2139 DO 10.1001/jama.2010.703 UL http://dx.doi.org/10.1001/jama.2010.703 AB To the Editor: In response to the Commentary by Mr Miller1 on registering clinical trial results, we believe that transparency also concerns the patients who participate in a trial. Most of the participants want to know the study results despite their potentially negative emotional effect.2 Even if the Internet is not the preferred source of information for those patients, it could help to routinely share results with participants.3 A narrative and a lay summary might be posted on ClinicalTrials.gov.
