All patients were recruited through insurance-based primary care, which has implications for socioeconomic status and generalizability of findings. Additional data that were not reported include a median annual income of $40 000, with similar distribution in the CBT and EUC groups (greater than $40 000: CBT, 33/68 [48.5%]; EUC, 36/63 [57.1%]; P = .32). Living situation also did not differ by subgroup, with 50 of 70 patients in CBT (71.4%) and 46 of 64 in EUC (71.9%) reporting that they lived with someone else (P = .95). No family history data were collected.
