The agency began accepting applications from drug makers who wish to participate in the Secure Supply Chain pilot program in January and will select 100 drug makers to participate in the 2-year pilot. Applicants must prove they have control over and can ensure the safety of their product at each step from supply chain to importation. Participants in the program may be able to expedite the importation process and face reduced agency scrutiny.
