RT Journal A1 Dai N, Xia H, Xu Y T1 NOninvasive approach to assess coronary artery stenoses and ischemia JF JAMA JO JAMA YR 2013 FD January 16 VO 309 IS 3 SP 233 OP 236 DO 10.1001/jama.2012.157192 UL http://dx.doi.org/10.1001/jama.2012.157192 AB To the Editor: Dr Min and colleagues1 reported that the noninvasive FFRCT achieved an accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity of 73%, 90% and 54%, respectively, in diagnosing coronary ischemia. However, the rates were 84%, 88%, and 82% in their initial study,2 indicating an inconsistency in diagnostic performance, especially regarding specificity. Thus, while FFRCT may represent an important innovation, we believe that more can be done to maximize its diagnostic accuracy.
