The book's content is organized into 15 chapters containing topics appropriately grouped into sections. Topics are not duplicated, and information on a specific topic may not be located in a section where it might be expected. The editors anticipated this and have provided excellent cross-referencing throughout that directs the reader to the relevant information elsewhere. For example, acute otitis media is covered only in chapter 12, “Ear, Nose, and Throat,” and is then referenced in other appropriate chapters such as “Paediatric Emergencies.” The index is also quite complete.
