Investigators from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that cross-species survival predictions using a TNA agreed well with actual survival. For example, cynomolgus macaque data predicted 78.6% survival in rhesus macaques (compared with 83.0% actual survival) and 72.6% in rabbits (64.6% actual survival).
