AB This book is a combination of two books previously published under the names "Maternal Care" and "Maternal Care Complications." These books have been reviewed in The Journal (Oct. 16, 1937, p. 1301, and Oct. 1, 1938, p. 1322). It is worth emphasizing that if most general practitioners of this country would acquaint themselves with the contents of this book there would be a marked improvement in antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care, with a consequent sudden and dramatic decrease in the maternal and fetal mortality and morbidity.
