Broad, Montgomery, has been appointed health officer of Bullock County, succeeding Dr. Hubert R. Owen, Union Springs, who resigned to do postgraduate work at the University of Pennsylvania, it is reported. Dr. Benjamin S. Black, Grove Hill, has resigned as health officer of Clarke County.Auditorium for County Medical Society.—  The Jefferson County Medical Society opened its new auditorium in the new Hillman Clinic Building, Birmingham, with a postgraduate seminar September 8-9. The auditorium has a seating capacity of 300 and has an adjoining club room. Included with the furnishings are provisions for a loud speaker, a talking moving picture machine and a stationary screen.
