AB SUPREME COURT ACTS ON APPEAL FROM PROCTOR DECISION 
    On October 23 the Supreme Court of the United States indicated that it would not now pass on the suit brought by the Department of Justice charging the American Medical Association, through various officials and also some physicians and hospitals of the District of Columbia, as well as other medical societies, with conspiracy to violate the Sherman antitrust law by activities against Group Health Association, Inc., of Washington, D. C. The Department of Justice had appealed directly to the Supreme Court from the decision rendered by Justice Proctor of the District Court for the District of Columbia. Attorneys for the American Medical Association did not oppose this attempt by the Department of Justice.Commenting on the decision, the Washington Post said:A PROPER SETBACK
