PLoS Med. 8[12]: e1001145. doi:10.1371/journal.pmed.1001145). The analysis concerns data from scientists with the tobacco company Philip Morris, who studied the potential toxicity of 333 cigarette additives and generated 4 peer-reviewed publications concluding that they found no evidence of substantial toxicity attributable to the cigarette additives studied.
