RT Journal A1 Bixby S T1 DIfferential diagnosis in pediatric imaging JF JAMA JO JAMA YR 2011 FD November 9 VO 306 IS 18 SP 2036 OP 2037 DO 10.1001/jama.2011.1636 UL http://dx.doi.org/10.1001/jama.2011.1636 AB The book is divided into 6 major chapters, each devoted to a different organ system or body part (eg, “The Skeleton and Soft Tissues”; “Urogenital Tract”). One chapter is devoted entirely to normal values. Each chapter is divided into subsections (eg, “Oral Cavity” is a subsection of the “Skull, Intracranial Space, and Vertebral Column” chapter). The figures are accompanied by short figure captions and tables. All tables follow the same 3-column format throughout, with “Diagnosis,” “Findings,” and “Comments” as column headings. Although not all diagnoses listed in the tables have accompanying figures, this is because the tables include a long list of differential diagnoses ranging from common conditions to exceedingly rare syndromes.
