To the Editor: The articles on "late-term abortion"
were a disappointment.1- 3
Each article has a different definition of "late term," and 21- 2
of the 3 articles were fraught with scientific inaccuracies, inflammatory
language, and a misuse of vague terms, all of which contribute to delaying
optimal care and to the possible criminalization of all abortion procedures.
