Would Bar Out Consumptives.
—The special committee on tuberculosis appointed at the last session of the legislature has decided against the proposition for the establishment of a state hospital for the care of tuberculous patients. It also decided to recommend in its report to the legislature, the adoption and rigid enforcement of more stringent laws governing the admission to California of persons afflicted with tuberculosis.
