At the Fourteenth Annual Meeting of the Arkansas State Medical Society, which was held at Pine Bluff, on May 28, Dr. Alfred Nelson, member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of the Province of Quebec, and late a member of the State Board of Health of Panama, presented a paper upon the subject of "Yellow Fever." An experience extending over many years at Panama, Colon, Mexico, Cuba and Tampa, renders him specially fitted to write upon this subject, The honor, as being the first to recognize and cultivate the yellow fever germ and to use inoculation as a prophylactic, he accords to Dr. Domingo F. Revie, of Rio Janeiro. In this connection he refers to the faith of Dr. L.
