In this number of The Journal a Programme of the Fortieth Annual Meeting of the Association is given, with, in addition, much information about Newport, where the meeting will be held from June 25 to 28. The programme assures a most interesting meeting, of much scientific value. The officers of Sections deserve praise for the labor that they have freely expended in securing so large and so excellent a series of papers. The Committee of Arrangements also is to be commended for the preparation that they have made to accommodate the Association with its numerous Sections.
The social part of the meeting has not been forgotten.
