F. C., a colored man aged 42 years, was arrested Sept. 5, 1910, while sleeping in a new school building, but because of his strange statements he was taken to the psychopathic wards of the Philadelphia General Hospital; from there lie was transferred to the Insane Hospital, September 9, where he developed jacksonian convulsions and died about three months later. The cause of his mental state was not determined clinically.
For some time previous to his detention and until he died, certain fixed delusions persisted in the mind of this patient. He stated that the new school building in which he was arrested had been fixed up for him by God's orders and that, it was to be called God's Angel's Temple. He drank at times but he had not been drinking for several months previous to his detention at the hospital. About a week after lie had stopped drinking,
