—Reference was made to the parenteral administration of cortisone acetate in the Questions and Answers section of the Sept 28th issue of The Journal (185:1047). It was stated in error that this product may be given intravenously. When administered parenterally, cortisone acetate should be given intramuscularly. However, preparations of hydrocortisone and a number of new corticosteroids are available for intravenous administration.
