New president of the American Association of Blood Banks is George J. Hummer, MD, of Santa Monica, Calif. The pathologist Succeeded E. Arthur Dreskin, MD, of Greenville, SC, at the AABB's recent annual meeting in Los Angeles. Dr. Hummer is director of laboratories at Santa Monica's St. John's Hospital as well as senior attending pathologist at Los Angeles County General Hospital. He also is associate clinical professor at the University of California, Los Angeles.George B. Logan, MD, professor of pediatrics, Mayo Graduate School of Medicine has been named vice-president and president-elect of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Logan will be installed president of the Academy during its 1967 annual meeting in Washington, D.C.William N. Hubbard, Jr., MD, dean of the University of Michigan Medical School was recently installed as president of the Association of American Medical Colleges.Dr. Hubbard has been dean at
