The Swedish Medical Research Council is sponsoring two 1967 fellowships for 12 months of research training at a government-supported institution in that country. More senior fellows will receive $6,000 per year; less senior fellows $5,500, with $500 for each dependent.Applicants must have earned the MD, PhD, DVM, DDS or equivalent degree, and have engaged in independent, responsible research in the health sciences for at least two of the past four years. They must also provide evidence of acceptance by a Swedish institution and preceptor.Application forms may be obtained from the Office of International Research, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Md 20014. The deadline is Feb 1, 1967, with the selection to be made in April.Raul Fleischmajer, MD, associate professor of medicine and head of the section of dermatology, Hahnemann Medical College and Hospital of Philadelphia, has been awarded a grant of $36,558 for research in
