They are part of a series entitled "How To Interpret," an ambitious project intended to encapsulate useful material for specific fields of medical interest.How To Interpret Investigations Used in Clinical Endocrinology describes succinctly the significance and pitfalls of many procedures. Some are familiar favorites; others, with a somewhat exotic flavor, will be of largely theoretical interest. The authors, describing a variety of tests for each endocrine gland, bring together in readable form material that frequently is widely dispersed and difficult for the general readerto assemble rapidly.
