The editors of this new book have succeeded in their desire to provide a reader-friendly and easy-to-use reference for information on the treatment of the most common diagnoses seen in an adult or pediatric rheumatology practice. The book is visually appealing and well-organized and is divided into 6 sections: “Management of Inflammatory Arthritis”; “Management of Connective Tissue Diseases”; “Management of Infectious Agent and Crystal-Induced Arthritis”; “Management of Degenerative Rheumatic Diseases”; “Management of Regional Non-Inflammatory Rheumatologic Disorders, Generalized Pain Syndromes, and Unexplained Painful Conditions”; and “Selected Topics in the Management of the Patient With Rheumatic Diseases.” With a link and activation code for the ExpertConsult Web site, the book is searchable and includes PubMed links to the actual articles cited.
