We have received the first general circular of the First International Congress of Professional Medicine and Medical Dermatology, to be held at Paris, July 23-28, 1900. It gives the general statement of the subjects of the sections, viz., on the relations of physicians to organizations, etc., to individuals, to other physicians, and questions of medical insurance, defense, etc. Titular membership of the Congress is obtained by payment, before the opening, of fifteen francs by postal order; participating membership by similar payment of ten francs; the former only gives the right to take part in the discussions. All manuscript of reports to be presented must be in the nands of the Committee on Organization before Jan. 1, 1900. These, which will be printed and distributed in advance, must be in French.
