CORDIER, M.D.KANSAS CITY, MO.I assure you I feel that the words at my command are inadequate to express my appreciation and thanks for the honor you have conferred on me in selecting me for your chairman. It is an honor of which any one, I am sure, should feel proud. To preside over a Section composed of the stars of the gynecologic world is a function of much honor and responsibility-the responsibility for a successful meeting not falling alone on the officers of the Section, but on each individual, as on your co-operation hangs the success of this meeting. I desire to express my thanks for the efforts of each member of this Section; and to your worthy secretary, Dr. W. D. Haggard, too much praise can not be given for his untiring efforts and enthusiastic zeal in the arranging of the excellent
