My Dear Doctor:  —A medical friend of mine recently mentioned in a complimentary way an article you lately read before the Chicago Society of Internal Medicine, entitled "Pulmonary Tuberculosis."I am desirous of securing a scientific clinical report on paper on the therapeutic use of —. This preparation is, as you all know, ethic and scientific, and has been used extensively in phthisis. I would like an article of about a thousand words, and am willing to pay you for your careful observation and report. Of course I want the privilege of publishing the paper in the medical press. If you have the time and inclination to do this work for me, and need literature and samples, I will take pleasure in sending them to you.
