—Dr. B. Franklin Weaver, arraigned at Bakersfield on a charge of practicing medicine without having first filed the necessary papers with the county clerk, was declared not guilty by the jury.

—Dr. William J. G. Dawson, St. Helena, has been appointed superintendent of the Home for the Feeble-Minded, Glen Ellen, and has been duly installed.—Dr. Charles E.
