ACTION OF THE AURORA (ILL.), MEDICAL SOCIETY.
At the regular meeting of this Society, held April 7, the following preamble and resolution was read, and unanimously adopted:Whereas, we as members of the Medical Profession, feel a deep interest in the prosperity and welfare of The Journal of the American Medical Association, situated as it is near the geographical centre of its numerous subscribers and contributors, with facilities for its early and rapid distribution unsurpassed in the United States, and believing that its removal to the City of Washington, in place of being an advantage, would certainly be a detriment to its usefulness. Therefore, be it,Resolved, that we cast our unanimous vote to have it remain in its present location and under its present able management.
