Tuesday, June 4—Afternoon.The meeting was called to order at 8 p. m. in the Casino Hall, Steel Pier, by Dr. D. T. Coleman, Atlanta, Ga., chairman.Dr Alexander Lambert, New York, nominated Dr. H. M. Michel, Augusta, Ga., secretary pro tem, who was elected.The chairman announced the nominating committee as follows: Drs. W. S. Thayer, Baltimore; Allen A. Jones, Buffalo, and J. A. Witherspoon, Nashville, Tenn.Dr. John A. Lichty, Pittsburg, read a paper on "The Early and Premonitory Symptoms of Progressive Pernicious Anemia." Discussed by Drs. Herrick, Chicago; Thayer, Baltimore; Goodwin, Mt. Vernon, N. Y.; McCaskey, Ft. Wayne, Ind.; Einhorn, New York; Anders, Philadelphia; Davis, Chicago; Hoover, Cleveland; Smithies, Ann Arbor, and Lichty, Pittsburg.
