—At a recent meeting of the Mobile County Society the permits of two dairymen of the city were revoked because they refused to allow the milk inspectors to make the tuberculin test on cows in their dairies.
To Prohibit Cocain Selling.
—It is announced that a bill will be introduced by a medical member of the next state legislature to prohibit the sale of cocain within the state and to prevent, as far as possible, the manufacture of "patent medicines" in Alabama.
—A contract has recently been closed which provides for the location of a modern hospital and sanitarium at Anniston.—The City Hospital, Bessemer, is now completed and ready to receive patients.—The Robinson Hospital, Bessemer, was opened December 1 for the treatment of medical and surgical cases. It has 17 rooms and accommodations for 22 patients.
