Siskiyou County to Have Hospital.
—The supervisors of Siskiyou County have let the contract for a hospital to be erected at Yreka, at an expense of about $10,000.

—Dr. Rosa H. Engert, formerly of Chicago, was seriously injured in a street-car accident at Santa Barbara, April 10, sustaining a fracture of the skull.—Dr. Frederick T. Bond, has been elected secretary of the Vallejo Board of Health, and health officer.
Health Board Needs More Money.
—The San Francisco Board of Health asks for an appropriation exceeding by more than $100,000 that of last year. The chief items of increase are: Emergency Hospital, $9,760; Leper Hospital, $590; Smallpox Hospital, $2,800; Almshouse, $7,100, and City and County Hospital, $80,750.
