ABSTRACT

A Correction to the Minutes of the House of Delegates.  Dr. Alexander R. Craig of Pennsylvania, chairman of the Reference Committee on Amendments to the Constitution and By-Laws, has called attention to the fact that in the minutes of the Boston session of the House of Delegates, printed in The Journal, June 16, page 1875, in the report of the Reference Committee, the amendment to Chapter 10, Section 7, of the By-Laws was inadvertently printed as a part of the report of the committee. This amendment was proposed at the Portland session and was referred to the Reference Committee on Amendments to the Constitution and By-Laws. On investigation this committee found the amendment to be in conflict with the Constitution and reported instead the substitute amendment to Article 8 of the Constitution, which, under the rules, was held over for one year before action.
