ABSTRACT

The program for the eighth annual meeting of the American Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists has just been issued. The daily sessions will be held in the south parlor of the Auditorium Hotel, Chicago, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, September 24, 25 and 26. The President is Dr. J. Henry Carstens, of Detroit; the Secretary, Dr. Wm. Warren Potter, of Buffalo.

The work of this Association has attracted a great deal of attention, its papers and discussions being universally quoted. It enjoys the reputation of being one of the most scientific and active organizations in this country. The papers represent advanced thought in both gynecology and obstetrics. At its meetings the results of original research are reported. The discussions are free and spirited, as might be expected, when they are participated in by such men as Joseph Price, Joseph Eastman, L. S. McMurtry, C. A. L. Reed, A. Vander Veer, W.
