Births Double Deaths.
—The annual report of the State Board of Health shows about 65,000 deaths and 150,000 births in Illinois during 1905. The males born exceeded the females by about 6,000.
Winnebago County Election.
—At the annual meeting of the Winnebago County Medical Society, held in Rockford, January 9, Dr. Thomas H. Culhane was elected president; Dr. Robert C. Bourland, vice-president, and Dr. William E. Park, secretary and treasurer, all of Rockford.
State Board of Health.
—At the twenty-ninth annual meeting of the State Board of Health, held at Springfield, January 25, the following officers were elected: Dr. George W. Webster, Chicago, president, and Dr. James A. Egan, Springfield, secretary and treasurer. Dr. Egan succeeds Dr. Peter H. Wessel, Moline, as treasurer.
