Spitting Ordinance.
—The Oakland City Council has passed an ordinance prohibiting spitting on the floor or steps of any public car or conveyance, or on the floor or steps of any public building, or on any sidewalk or crosswalk, under penalty of a fine not to exceed six dollars.
