To the Editor:
—It is unfortunate and an injustice to our valuable antiseptie "chinosol," that many physicians (thinking that chinosol has been condemned by the Council on Pharmacy and Chemistry of the A. M. A.) will not read the literature which is sent to them and will not listen to the things our representatives say when they call. The facts are that chinosol has been accepted by the Council for "New and Nonofficial Remedies" and the investigation of that body goes to show that chinosol is a powerful antiseptic, slightly more so than is bichlorid of mercury; it is also non-poisonous. We think it only fair that you should publish this statement.
