—Work on the university free dispensary building, Birmingham, which is to cost $50,000, has commenced and the building will be completed in October.
Site Offered for Blind School.
—Dupont Thompson of Birmingham has offered a tract of land near Hale Springs, as a site for the proposed State School for Manual Training for the Blind, which the legislature has been called on to construct and endow. The site offered is about 8 miles from Birmingham.
Medical Journal Headquarters Changed.
—The Southern Medical Journal, the official organ of the Southern Medical Association, heretofore published at Mobile, will in the future be published in Birmingham, the headquarters of the association and Dr. Seale Harris, editor of the
