HIGHER MEDICAL EDUCATION.

ABSTRACT

We noticed last week in our news columns that Rush Medical College of Chicago, had decided to require a four years' course from students matriculating from and after 1894. This school has heretofore enacted that its annual courses should consist of eight months, so that hereafter students must attend four full courses of eight months each as preliminary to graduation.

This advance in medical education will alike gratify the members of the American Medical Association, the Alumni of the College, and friends of higher medical education everywhere.
