ARKANSAS
New State Hospital.
—The Arkansas legislature recently passed a bill providing for the sale of certain lands, by which a sum estimated at $150,000 will be provided to erect a new state hospital in Little Rock. This is to be the teaching hospital of the University of Arkansas Medical Department and under the control of the board of trustees of the university.
