Red Cross Building Cornerstone Laid.
—On March 27, President Wilson and former President Taft assisted at the laying of the cornerstone of the new building for the American Red Cross to be erected at a cost of $800,000 as a memorial to the heroic women of the Civil War. The building is to be completed by April, 1916.
