At a recent meeting of the Academy of Medicine Dr. Guéniot read a memoir on the causes and treatment of the severe or obstinate vomiting of pregnancy. According to the author there are three principal factors concerned in the etiology of this form of vomiting, viz.: the uterus, the nervous system and the stomach, consequently it is against the alteration of one of these organs that the treatment should be directed.
