ILLINOIS 

Roentgen-Ray Equipment Installed.  —A complete Roentgen-ray equipment has been secured at a cost of about $2,000, and will be installed in the new wing of St. Joseph's Hospital, Elgin next week.

Military Surgeons Elect.  —At the annual meeting of the Association of Military Surgeons of the State of Illinois held in Chicago, December 28, the following officers were elected: president, Lieut.-Col. Jacob Frank, Chicago, surgeon-general of Illinois; vice-president, Captain Arthur F. Wilhelmy, Decatur, and secretary-treasurer, Brig. Gen. S. C. Stanton, Chicago (reelected).

Hospital Faces Burden of Debt.  —At a meeting of the board of directors of the Monmouth Hospital, December 15, the physicians presented a formal communication requesting that action regarding the proposed change of management
