The Fortieth Annual Meeting of The Association.
—Both the preliminary programmes of many of the Sections already published and a recent letter from the Chairman of the Committee of Arrangements show that the preparations for the meeting at Newport are progressing in a most efficient and satisfactory manner. Not only the Rhode Island State Medical Society, but the profession in Boston and throughout the New England States are affording gratifying indications of a warm interest in the coming meeting.
