The many inquiries I receive from all over the country about the use of the stem pessary, with requests for reprints of previous articles on the subject,1 have prompted me to write another article on this question. It shows that the conditions mentioned in the title are difficult to treat. Knowing that the stem pessary will relieve the patients in nearly all cases, and in order to give this method of treatment thorough publicity, I again write on the above-named subject.
